However, we do not have any details of purchases from 1948 to 1971
therefore an assumption of £1500 per year has been made totalling
£34,500
We have also purchased every year from 1970 until December 2019
Christmas Gifts for everyone in the hospital on Christmas Day with an
average total of £1000 per year.
Therefore another £50,000 has been added to the total.

OVER THE LAST 50 YEARS THE LEAGUE OF FRIENDS HAVE PURCHASED THESE ITEMS FOR GLANGWILI HOSPITAL THROUGH THE GENEROUS DONATIONS OF THE PUBLIC INCLUDING BEREAVED FAMILIES WHO HAVE CHOSEN US TO RECEIVE MONEY IN LIEU OF FLOWERS ON SOMEONE’S DEATH AND ALSO FROM LEGACIES.
